Best Buy DVD Exchange + Movie Cash = FREE Blu-Rays!

If your family is like mine, you probably have old DVD's lying around that never get watched. Used movies tend to have little value, but did you know that Best Buy stores run limited-time promotions where you can trade in any* DVD for a $5.00 coupon that you can redeem toward the purchase of any Blu-ray title priced at $9.99 or more!?  This week thru 7/21 they are running one of these promotions so you can trade in your movies and many of the Blu-Rays will be just $4.99 and there are several movie cash deals right now for Spiderman, Batman, and the new Ice Age!

She purchased 3 of the Ice Age Movies which were Blu-Ray Combo packs + Digital Copy (priced at $9.99) -- for just $4.99 after the $5 coupon! But the deal was even sweeter because they all included $5 in movie cash to see the newest Ice Age in theaters -- so if you were planning on seeing that movie anyways, that makes the combo packs FREE!


She also spotted Alvin & the Chipmunks (also $9.99) and that included $5 in Ice Age movie cash! They bought 5 blu-ray movies (many of which were combo packs with digital copies) for just $26.49 after tax and earned $20 in movie cash so it was like paying just $6.49 for 5 blu-ray's!!!
