Summer Savings - Start by Collecting those Coupons!

Happy 1st days of Summer and 1st day of "Summer Savings"!  

My sister and I have decided that we will be taking a big family vacation soon, but we really need to work to be frugal and save up money for our trip on an already tight budget.  My sister is brand new to couponing and I know I still have lots to learn. Join us in trying to save money for a vacation while still living a real life (no eating just bread and water or not going out of the house :) ).

For the first few days, I will work on trying to help my sister begin couponing. Please share any advice for her on the day's topic in the comments section.  First I told her to start collecting those coupons! Here are some great places I find my coupons:

1. The newspaper - I subscribe to my small town newspaper and also get a copy of the newspaper from the largest city closest to us. I find they have different coupons or different values, so it's helpful to me to have both.

2. Printable Coupon sites - SmartSource.com, Coupons.com, Coupon Network, Red Plum, Target
I usually print all the ones I think I'll use once a week on Sunday when the new coupons come out and of course I'll print if a hot deal comes out that I need a coupon for I haven't printed.

3. Facebook - Check out your favorite products' fan page and see if they have a coupon out

*These are the top 3 places I find coupons, there are MANY more places to find coupons - in stores, on product websites, in free samples, etc.
