Steps to Save #13 - Twitter

The last step was about joining Facebook.  I know there are many concerns when it comes to facebook, so keep in mind - you control what you put on your facebook and what applications you accept, go with your gut! And use your privacy settings (go to "account" and "privacy settings").  Let me know if you need anything! Facebook can be a really great way to get coupons, freebies, and find out about great deals!

Tonight I wanted to move on to Twitter.  I do not use twitter a lot. I am going to start using it more to tweet about deals I find immediately, but I am still learning all twitter has to offer. Here are some things I like about twitter:

1. You see a short sentence of info, then can decide if you want to read more. I follow a lot of companies and people on twitter, so it can be easy to scan through and decide what I want to read more of or just catch up on deals really fast.

2. Swagbucks on twitter - codes can be found on twitter and on Tuesdays you can tweet about Swagbucks for a chance to win bucks.

3. Exclusive deals found on Twitter - there are not many, but one big one was a $4 off $20 for CVS twitter followers.

4. Following people on twitter can help you get an extra entry in giveaways  :)

5. Easy to post deals from the store from my phone :)
