Steps to Save - Step #7 - CVS continued

Last night I listed the basics of shopping CVS, tonight there are only a couple more things to talk about - if I missed anything or you would like to add anything, please leave a comment! Thanks!

1. Buy a green bag tag online or at the register for $0.99, hook it to your green bag, scan it every time you use your bag, and every fourth time you use it, you will get $1 ECB! A great way to make money (and we know how to stretch a $1)! And you are giving back - $0.05 of every tag sold goes to the World Wildlife Fund.

2. Sign up for CVS account and e-mail by putting in your CVS Extra Care card number and you may get lucky every now and again with some extra savings (plus you can keep track of your ECBs online). I just received a $4 off $20 coupon in my inbox -when I check out,  I hand this coupon to them first, then hand over my other coupons, and get GREAT savings!

3. Another way to get more savings at CVS is to follow them on Twitter and Facebook. They just gave away a $4 off $20 coupon to their twitter followers and it was a hit, so I look for them to do more in the future.

And that's about it - for now. I used to not shop the drugstores, but now as I learn more about their rewards and other policies in place to save - I find more and more great deals there!

*Don't Miss a Step*

Tomorrow I will answer another question written in - Please leave your own questions or comments below :)
