In saying that I want to make my first and most frustrating point (at least for me as a blogger) *Walmart - prices vary throughout the country* so you usally have to take the match ups as a suggestion. :)
Another item I find that makes saving at Walmart a little more time consuming is they do not have a regular ad out every week...it can be for 1 week, more than 1 week, no ad at all, etc. So most Walmart deals and match ups are found by good old foot work - shopping the store or hearing about deals from others...which leads me back to my first point.
Walmart accepts manufacture coupons and manufacture printable coupons. They give the FULL amount back, so you can get overage on items (at least this is what I have found when shopping there). Read here for their full coupon policy.
Walmart will also price match - they need to have it in stock, the exact item pictured in the ad (I have heard they will even go so far to request same color, type, etc. just be prepared)
I must say that I have only had good experiences at Walmart (now I'm sure that will change...knock on wood), but I know others have had a hard time. Print out the coupon policy before you go and exercise your right to save and see a manager - you are not doing anything wrong by using coupons!
One last tip - the awesome magazine All You that has sooooo many coupons is sold exclusively at Walmart, so pick up a copy when you are there!
