So, we ended last week talking about more involved ways of organizing coupons and I wanted to end Step 2 with a couple of tips to make organizing faster and easier (at least in my opinion...and you know what they say about opinions...haha) Please give your own tips in the comment section below or on facebok! Every little one helps someone!
1. If you buy multiple papers, take apart the ads and paperclip or staple similar pages together. File them this way or go ahead and cut...you will be cutting all the same coupons out at a time. This saves time cutting and filing because they are all together.
2. When printing coupons set your printer on "quick print" or "draft" or other low ink setting if you can to save ink.
3. You might want to add a couple of regular page protectors to your binder so you can put in the oversized coupons.
4. Whatever organization method you use, you might want to put any "free" coupons in a front/separate part so you make sure you use them by their expiration date.
5. I like having a bag big enough your coupon binder can sit down in it and you can flip through it in the bag as needed...it can also hold a pen and pad
6. You can fold your coupons over the bar code and they will still work :)
*Do what works for you and please share! Trust me, someone out there will be learning from your tips!
