Steps to Save - Step 2 - 9/7

Step 1 was to gather coupons! I shared where I knew great coupons (other than the newspaper) and great printables! You shared great ideas too on Facebook and in the comment section!

Now on to step 2 : Organizing the Coupons :)

I progressed slowly in my organizing...here is what I tried:

1. I started by just cutting what I needed right before I went to the store - they hung out in a drawer until then

2. Then I started using a little accordian file (you can find then on the dollar isle)

3. Next I used the Couponizer and Loved it!

4. Finally, I broke down and made a Coupon Binder :) And sometimes I still use my Couponizer to hold grocery coupons I know I'm definitely going to use on my next trip. I also use envelopes to hold coupons I'm going to use on my next Target trip, Walgreens, etc.

This week I will re-post some of the ways the me and the other City Mommies organize our coupons. It all depends on what works for you and as you can see, it may take more than 1 try!

What works for you now?
