Friday Answers - Can't Print Coupons, Now What?

I have gotten a very interesting question about finding coupons that I hope you all can help with :
"I try to stack coupons and save a lot of money, but with out a printer it's so hard to get the best deals! What is your advice?"

Other than finding a very nice friend or befriending a librarian (though, I guess even they are charging for print outs these days)..I have a couple of different ways to help you save even with out a printer!

1. Keep buying newspapers - I save soooo much through those coupons alone

2. Target will let you print their coupons off in their stores! You can use the computers at the customer service desk (the ones that you can print off registries). Now you can stack coupons at Target!

3. Look in your favorite magazines! CVS has an in store magazine, but there are coupons found in LOTS of different magazines!  Of course All You is the best to find lots of coupons for your money, but I have also found them in Self , Parents, Real Simple, Disney FamilyFun , and I'm sure there are lots more!

4. Use e-coupons! Kroger is one store that has their own e-coupons you can download from their website straight to your Kroger Plus Card.  You can download e-coupons from Cellfire to many stores, including Kroger and Safeway. These coupons can be stacked with regular manufacture coupons. Check your favorite stores' websites to see if they participate in ecoupons (Cellfire and Shortcuts are 2 websites to check out).

5. Download Upromise coupons to your store loyalty card (they only work with certain stores, but if you have that store, it's worth it!).

6. Find a "coupon pal". It's funny that I should get this question and the exact opposite (someone that does not get newspaper inserts, but can print coupons) within days of each other. Let me know and I can see if someone is willing to trade - you send them inserts, they send you printables.

7. If you really love a product, e-mail the company with your story, compliment, and address. Lots of times they will mail you coupons -happy customers are loyal customers!

*What did I miss? Do you have any suggestions for this very common question?*

Thanks for posting this! My printer just broke, but I've been looking on craigslist for another one. You can get them used fairly cheap, and it will pay for itself if you keep the coupon use up for for a few months.

You can also get super cheap ink at sites like clinkinks.com so that doesn't expense doesn't choke you. It's generic ink, but if you're just printing coupons on a used printer, it's really not a big deal!
