Today's Shopping Trip - 7/1

Today is the start of a new month and a start of even better shopping for me! I love to shop and I'm lucky to live in an area with many options close together (I call it lucky, my husband thinks differently... :) ) I have never been a big drugstore shopper. I think it's a lot of work to get a great deal...keeping up with rewards or cards or rebates...I become exhausted reading about how to do the deal! Boy, was I so so so wrong! I decided to suck it up and try out some deals and came home with my hands full!!! Here is what I found:

*After they rang everything up I gave them the $5 off $20 coupon from the Video Values FIRST, then the other coupons.
Final Total : $4.76 and I still have a $2.99 Single Check Rebate to get from the Crest! So, after everything I will have only paid $1.77! And it was for items we regularly buy (yes...chocolate is a necessity in my house!), except the Veet...I'm trying this out (for practically free) to see what it's like.

I also got back 2 coupons on my receipt for $1 off $10 purchase of any oral care and $1 off $10 purchase of any cough, cold, or allergy purchase. Coupons are like money to me, so I just got paid to shop there!
Walgreens
*I was so happy with Rite Aid, I let my guard down some with Walgreens....just one of those trips where one forgotten part leads to many more! I forgot to use a register reward and didn't check my rewards until I got home and was missing one! Still, it was an ok trip...

Final Price: $2.99 + $2 of register rewards (some people are buying 2 and using the B1G1 coupon and getting back an extra $3 register reward!)

Final Price: $3.99 (should have also gotten back $3 RR...)

-Twizzlers - 2/$3 -I bought 3

Final Price: $3.50 for 3 + $2 RR

Used $6 RR

Final Total : $4.88 and I got $4 RR (should have been $7)

I also went to Target to pick up some office supplies on clearance and check out the toy clearance. I know clearance items range from Target to Target, but my Target had some great toys on clearance - Dora the Explorer girls, Imaginext, GI Joes, and Littlest Pet Shop (B1G1 Littlest Pet Shop Collectible Pet printable) - all make great Christmas gifts!
