In celebration of Earth Day’s historic 40th anniversary on April 22nd, BBC Earth will be offering Planet Earth’s first episode for free instant download on iTunes from April 12th through April 26th.

If you’re not already familiar – Planet Earth is an 11-part series presenting the epic story of life on Earth.
