It's International Children's Book Day
On or around Has Christian Andersen's birthday (April 2), International Children's Book Day is celebrated to call attention children's books and inspire a love of reading. Being an Elementary School teacher, I understand how important reading is to success in school. It is also a great way for children to relax and learn so much!
Target has many of it's children's books marked 10 - 15% off. They also have asked other parents to share their favorite kid's book on their facebook fan page (a great way to get suggestions for new books to read).
