It's going to be a gorgeous weekend in our Nation's Capitol! A perfect weekend to enjoy the Cherry Blossom Festival. They are in full bloom and it is quite a site to see! The Festival lasts until April 11 with many events planned for the following days. There is a night of contemporary arts and music planned for tonight, fireworks for tomorrow night, a parade planned for next Saturday, with a 10 mile run ending the event next Sunday. Other events are planned as well as daily cultural performances on the Target stage at the Sulivan Theatre. I love this festival...a great backdrop for spring pictures!
