Tillman Military Scholar Program Open
After the September 11 attacks, Pat Tillman put his NFL career on hold to serve with the 75th Ranger Regiment in Fort Lewis, Washington. He served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. On April 22, 2004, his unit was ambushed and he made the ultimate sacrifice while providing cover for his fellow soldiers. His friends and family soon after created the Pat Tillman Foundation to support educational opportunities for veterans, service members, and their family.
The Tillman Military Scholarships are meant to cover direct-study related costs and other related expenses. The GI bill is great, but sometimes it does not cover everything. The online application is now open! For more information visit their website. Good Luck!
