Clorox Bleach child safety concern

I wanted to share a tip I learned today.
Yesterday, I was going through my house double checking everything to make sure things were still baby proof. As I was double checking that outlets covers were in place and making sure all vitamins and medicines were out of reach of little hands, I came across my new Clean Linen Clorox liquid bleach (like the one posted above) that I recently purchased. To my shock and disappointment, I realized that there is no childproof cap on it. It simply has a screw off lid, which my two year has no problem taking off that style lid (such as a water bottle water) I contacted the Clorox company asking them "why in the world does your bleach NOT have a child proof lid?"

Here was their response:
Thank you for contacting us about your Clorox Liquid Bleach. We always appreciate hearing from our consumers. Our scented bleaches are not registered disinfectants, therefore, we are not required by law to use the child proof cap on the product. Our Regular Clorox Bleach does have the child proof cap. I have forwarded your comments to our packaging department for further review.
.
Now, I am not saying we should ban Clorox. Not by any means, I think that it is important for my family's cleanliness and safety (especially with flu and cold season approaching). But, for now on I will ONLY purchase non-scented liquid bleach.
I just wanted to share this information from one mom to another. Because even though we keep unsafe items locked and out of reach, as any mom will tell you, kids can get into the darnedest situations in a blink of an eye.
I will let you know if I hear from Clorox regarding packaging.
